Meet the Mentors

Day: Thursday, 4 October
Time: 7:30 pm-9:00 pm
Location: 408/410 TNRB

The Mentoring Program is designed for pre-Business students to discuss, learn, and ask questions from a top-notch student in her prospective program, allowing her to learn all the tips and tricks to the Marriott School! This program requires women to meet with her mentor at least twice a semester for 30 minutes and asks her to attend the exclusive (and short) Mentor-Mentee monthly workshops. Come to this activity to mingle with our amazing mentors and learn how this program can help you reach your Marriott School dreams.

If you are interested in being mentored, you must attend the event on the 4th. If you cannot attend, please let us know as soon as possible.

If you have any questions or concerns, please email byuwibmentoring@gmail.com.

Meet the Mentors Night Success

Meet the Mentors Night was a record success! Over 100 pre-management students were mentored last year, and of those who applied to the business school, 91% were accepted. Compare that to the average overall acceptance rate of only 54%!

This semester, we had over 100 pre-management women attend the event in search of a mentor. There were 23 mentors available to network with and answer general questions about applying to the Marriott School. Of the 100 women who applied for the mentoring program, around 60 will be chosen to participate in our semester-long program. We look forward to increasing capacity in future semesters so that many more women can be mentored and prepared to attend the BYU Marriott School of Business.
